The summary is as follows:
- Purchase the transfer service to us. Please note that one year of registration is free with a transfer.
- Unlock the domain with your current registrar.
- Get the authorization code (also known as a transfer key or EPP code). If you don’t see one with your current registrar, contact them directly to have the code emailed to you.
- Verify contact information is accurate with your current registrar, specifically the administrator’s contact information.

Bulk Transfers. If the extension (TLD) isn’t supported with us, you won’t be able to transfer it.
Typically, 5-7 days to complete. You can track your transfers on your transfers page by following the steps listed on this page.

Transferring a top-tier (.com) domain is *$21.99 and that includes (1) **FREE year of registration.
The free year of registration with us begins after your current registration expires.
If you currently have email accounts, websites, or other services with your current registrar and you ONLY purchase a domain transfer with WebsiteBasics+ those services will not transfer.

ICANN has a rule that states that a domain name cannot be transferred within 60 days of registration or previous transfer.
